Dr. Clark Elkins
Being the son of a career Navy man, and being a Navy Veteran myself, I have lived all over the U.S. Even still, I have spent a lot of time in Emmett. My mother, Melanie, grew up and graduated high school here in Emmett. I have spent many summers visiting my grandparents Ellis and Wanda Limb. My mother grew up in a home that is literally a block and a half from Elkins Dental. Even though my grandfather passed away several years ago, and my grandmother has moved out of their long time home, I have enjoyed visiting other family members in Emmett and reminiscing of all the good times we’ve spent there. I find it an incredible blessing to be able to come back to where so many memories have been made. While in dental school, I received a Navy scholarship and served 3 years active duty after receiving my Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. I was stationed at the Marine Corps boot camp in Parris Island, SC for a year treating new recruits. I then served two years aboard the USS Ashland out of Little Creek, VA. My time included two deployments to the Persian Gulf. After separating from the Navy and wanting to be closer to family we relocated to Idaho where my brother, Russ had settled, which gave me time to find the perfect opportunity here in Emmett. In my spare time, I love to play the guitar and sing with my brother in our band. You can often find us playing weekend gigs around the valley. If I’m not playing music with my brother, you’ll usually find me in the garage working on the next stained glass art piece. You’ll find many of the stained glass pieces hanging in the dental office. You can also find many of my pieces on my stained glass website www.facebook.com/Sharkglass.
Though I have some hobbies, nothing comes before my family. I met my wife, Beth while at Ricks College and we’ve been married since 1999. Together, we have 6 wonderful children.
